Belize Musician Brad Pattico: The Soul of Belizean Music, Faith, and Heritage

At the heart of Belize’s vibrant music scene stands Brad Pattico — a beloved Belize musician, storyteller, and spiritual leader whose music transcends entertainment to become a force for healing, connection, and cultural pride.

Recently featured at the HOPE Gala in Belize City with Belize Talk Radio’s Macarena Rose, Brad shared his deep mission: to use music as a tool for faith, education, and national unity.

| “Tonight, we’re ministering the Word through songs,” Brad said. “We’re also performing cultural songs of Belize — people need to be familiar with where we came from and our history.”

Belize Musician : Keeping the Belizean Story Alive Through Song

For Brad, every performance is an act of storytelling — a way to keep Belize’s history alive through melody and rhythm. His music honors the logging traditions, spiritual roots, and vibrant diversity that define Belize.

For this Belize musician each song becomes a bridge between generations, reminding listeners of the strength and soul of the Belizean people.

Hymnspiration: Reconnecting Hearts Through Song

Brad’s passion as a Belize musician for ministry inspired Hymnspiration, a community program he hosts at his home. The gatherings revive classic hymns from Redemption Songs and other timeless hymnals — uniting people through faith and fellowship.

| “We sing songs of old,” Brad shared. “Before we start, I have everyone meet who they’re sitting next to. We pray, share testimonies, and celebrate the Gospel of Jesus Christ.”

Afterward, guests share a potluck meal — blending worship with the warm hospitality Belize is known for.

Supporting Hope and Healing in Belize

Beyond his music, Brad supports organizations like Jacob’s House, a rehabilitation center for young men, and the House of Dorcas, which assists women in crisis. These programs are supported by events like the HOPE Gala — a celebration of compassion and community.

| “When you give, you give so that you can receive more — good measure, pressed down, and running over,” Brad said. “We don’t need to wait on the government. We can help one another.”

Harmony, Heritage, and Heart

Whether performing at national events, hosting Hymnspiration, or visiting those in need, Belize musician Brad Pattico embodies the spirit of Belize — generous, faith-filled, and united.

| “What I love about Belize,” Brad said, “is that we’re all one.”

Through his music and his message, Brad continues to remind us that true harmony begins in the heart — and that Belize’s greatest song is the one we sing together.

[00:27.4]
Hey, it’s Macarena from Belize Talk Radio. And where are we? We are actually in Belize City at a, really big event that is fabulous with the Belize Project called the HOPE Gala. And I’m honored and privileged to be standing here with Belize musician Brad Pattico, who you are a really big deal. Just saying.

[00:43.6]
So do you think your music and your inspiration is renowned? And I appreciate you so much because of what you do. It changes people’s vibration musically. Right. Music is really its own language of connecting with people.

[00:58.8]
But tell me, what is it that you’re doing tonight? Tonight we’re just ministering the word through songs. And we are also doing a bit of the cultural songs of Belize. People need to be familiar with where we came from and some of the history of our logging days here in Belize.

[01:19.6]
And we have stories about these songs. So we share these stories with people from all over Belize. It’s an education way of getting the story of our ancestors and the heritage music that we have through these folk songs.

[01:35.7]
So there’s something that really just touches my soul and spirit of something that you’re doing in your own property that you’re opening for people. And tell us more about that inspiration Himspiration. That is a program that I started off about three or four months ago.

[01:53.7]
And we’ve had some interesting gatherings of people who want to go back into the hymnal, the, the old sound book, redemption songs and sing these songs of old. It brings back a kind of a, it’s a, it’s what a good memories don’t fail, you know.

[02:13.5]
So they get together and they sing these songs. Brings back the memories and they kind of associate with the people who are in their group. We have a 5 to about 7:30 program now. They associate with the people who are there between 5 and 5:30.

[02:30.9]
And we begin the program at 5:30. The reason being I want people to know who they are sitting around so they can go and introduce themselves for about half an hour. And then we get into the program. The program, starts with a hymn. We get into prayer, we get into testimony and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.

[02:53.8]
Because I think that’s the most important part of the program. You know, we want people to know that there’s a life after this life here, it’s important that we know about eternal life, you know, so we introduce people to Jesus Christ and tell them the way how they can get there.

[03:11.3]
And we have. Afterwards, we get together because it’s a potluck style. We get together and we have some food together. So we. It’s a fellowship. I mean, and then you feel, you know, I was going to point out to your videographer who was there last week, you know, and he.

[03:27.8]
He was a part of the program and he can tell you more about it. Well, I want to just. You inspire me. You inspire people around you. Your music is legendary. We’re going to share some clips that you can actually listen to more of the music because it is very part of Belize.

[03:45.7]
It is very much so. But the hymnspiration thing that you’re doing is next level. Because everything you do, like even being here tonight, comes from a very special place. Amen. Yeah. And that’s the heart. Whatever I do, you know, I do from the heart.

[04:01.1]
I share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Yes, I do. But I also sing songs of inspiration, praise and worship. And, you know, whatever situation I get into, I can go to your house.

[04:16.6]
I used to go to a house in Hattieville where there was a lady with two legs amputated. But she ministered to me more than how I ministered to her in song. This lady was an awesome spirit. I mean, she just spoke wonderfully of the love of Jesus Christ.

[04:34.7]
At the time she was in that condition. So I go and I minister to the sick. I go and I sing songs. I go to funerals. I even sing at funerals, you know, so I have a good cross section of how to relate to people through music.

[04:51.3]
You can feel your spirit so strong. Thank you. It’s quite lovely. And I’m honored and privileged that we are here with part of the HOPE Gala to really bring this to the world. Because the work that they’re doing with, you know, even with like, Jacob House and Corazal and all that stuff is just so powerful.

[05:06.6]
And good people know good people, right? And then good people knowing more things, they can come here, they can bring their energy, they can bring their experience, their funds, their resources to help. Right? Yeah. Well, let me tell you a little about Jacob’s house. Tell me about Jacob’s house. Jacob’s house is where I went to. I was invited to go to this place and I heard about it.

[05:23.7]
And it’s a rehabilitation center for young men who are caught up in drugs and alcohol and everything, you know, and we try to relate to them through love. Love in our hearts, love from God the Father, and try and help them to go through a change in life that will help them to be stronger in themselves, you know, enabling others who are in that position to become stronger people, too, you know.

[05:53.0]
And, we also have the House of Dorcas that ministers to battered women and also the prisons. And, you know, there are schools that are being caught up in part of their ministry also. So when people give to events like this, they are doing a favor, to the country of Belize because it’s not everything that the government needs to be called for.

[06:20.0]
We can put our hands out there. And, you know, one of the belief that I have is when you give, you give so that you can receive more. You know, good measure, pressed down together and, running over. Right? Amen.

[06:36.2]
Amen. And I will say that, you know, we were privileged to go to Jacob’s house and see the work they were doing and be able to see that and then be able to share it with other people, because I think it’s a great resource for our country for people to know there’s places like Jacob’s house to go to. I personally have friends here that have needed those kind of support systems.

[06:53.4]
So I just adore you. I adore your music, and I’m honored and privileged to be here at Hope Gala with you. Thank you so much. Thank you very much. Macarena. It’s good to. To. To know that you’re around. And I never knew all of this was going on before.

[07:08.4]
You know, if my friend Ben Awe, whenever. Come and tell me about it, I wouldn’t have known. And you bypassed my home the other day and I. We missed you. But next time you didn’t want me, they didn’t want. No, no, no. Next time we come. And you know what? I have a feeling we’re going to be at himspiration.

[07:25.1]
Good. Please. Thank you so much. And to the audience who is listening out there, you know, you’re always welcome to this event. You know, it’s open to the public, whatever churches you come from, you’re always welcome. What I love about Belize, we’re all one.

[07:40.3]
Amen. Bless you. Bless you. Brad Pattico. Macarena Rose. It’s a privilege and honor, as always. May the rest of your day be the best of your day.
