Beautiful Belize restaurant
We visited here a couple years ago. The restaurant owners are super nice and generous people. They only serve a choice of one meal, but it is very yummy! You definitely get a taste of their culture! The atmosphere is beautiful and peaceful! It was a lovely experience with friends and family.
Mayan Wells, Belize for a great stay
Last month we stayed with Mayan Wells in their cabanito; while visiting Altun Ha which is famous for the jade skull that was found in the sight; that one of the temples is on the Belikin Beer bottle. Martha, one of the owners could not have done enough for us. Beautiful gardens, birds; including resident toucans; I believe Susie is the name for the resident Howler monkey. We highly recommend staying in the little village of Maskall with Mayan Wells. They have a huge area for anyone travelling with a tent or a camper. Martha is also a wonderful cook; we enjoyed the terrific dinners she made for us.
Great camping spot
A great place to camp, the butterfly house is just as cool. Make sure to take a Banana with for the resident Howler monkey!
